A variety of 3D printed PAEK/Continuous Carbon-Fiber specimens were manufactured to test electromagnetic interference shielding. Each specimen had a different fiber orientation and thickness

A Keysight Vector Network Analyzer was used to measure the scattering parameters in the X-Band using a WR-90 waveguide (22.9 mm x 10.2 mm)

The shielding effectiveness with respect to EM frequency in the X-Band (8.2 – 12.4 GHz). As expected, when the fibers ran along the length (theta = 0) the overall shielding was higher.
