Preparations began before sunrise with filling the weather balloon and closely monitoring for leaks or punctures.
Pre-launch avionics check. A Raspberry Pi logged video, temperature, barometric pressure, and pressure altitude. A GoPro provided additional HD footage.
Final avionics check prior to launch.
To safely launch the weather balloon an estimated ascent rate and trajectory were submitted to NAVCanada.
